FIRST, thank you to all you lovely friends who commented on yesterday's post. Thanks for your encouragement and commiseration. It's comforting to know that we're all in the same boat, and sometimes struggle with doubts, depression, and lack of confidence. For me, today is already better than yesterday-- which I suppose is what we're all going for, right?
ALSO, I dreamed last night that I asked my local librarian to be my agent. He was thrilled to death. Then he locked me in an ornate vault in the library basement and said I couldn't come out until I finished all my revisions. HA! I'm still chuckling about it.
PLUS, tomorrow is the day of awesomeness on this blog, full of things you will covet dearly. At least, I think you will. I covet them dearly, and I think you will as well.
So, my friends, any crazy writing dreams lately? Any awesomeness you would like to share as well?

What a funny dream! I had a dream the other night I was writing in a notebook and along came a few spiders. Spiders really freak me out, but when I looked up their meaning, it meant good fortune. Ha! Who would-a thought. I guess now I wont be so prejudice against the little buggers if their for my writing :)
What a strange dream. Shallee, let me share a secret. I too dream a lot of books, writing, awards and royalty checks. But so far no one has locked me to complete my revisions. :)
I missed your post yesterday, but I'm so very glad you're feeling better today. *hugs*
And that's such an awesome dream.
I know I have weird dreams, but seems like I forget them as soon as I get up! But yours is great!
I'm glad today is better for you. We all get down in the dumps about our writing, but it helps having others who know what we're going through.
I'm glad you're feeling better!
That is a strange dream! Oddly enough, I don't have writing dreams; I have dreams about everything else, though. :P
Yay for a better day! Across the Universe is making dream all sorts of crazy things!
I didn't catch your post yesterday, but I read it just now. Writer's postpartum. I get that way too after completing a project. The greater the high, the greater the fall to compensation. But you know what. You finished a book. That's good enough. Now onto the next phase and onward.
As for dreams, my sister had one once. She was walking in a bookstore and saw a thick hardback with a glossy green cover and my name on it. Ironically, that's just how I envisioned that project to look like. One of these days, I hope to make her dream, and mine, come true.
Keep it up. You're good enough!
I haven't had any writing dreams lately, but last night I had a strange dream that I still remember. I was on a train, trying to save someone who was being held against their will. The inside of the train was covered in flaking paint, pigeon poo, and chicken wire :/
I ended up finding the person, but I can't remember who they were.
Yay I'm glad today is a better day Shallee. I love Dori from Finding Nemo in those situations: "Just keeps swimming, just keep swimming.."
I haven't had any writing dreams lately but the other night I had a dream that sparked a story idea which I wrote 1k words on. And this after I said I don't get story ideas from dreams in the what's your process blogfest.. :)
hahaha, love your dream! We've got some pretty crazy librarians at my library, so you're probably not very far off there ;p
I don't think I've had a dream about writing, although now I kind of wish I would. It seems a bit amusing. :D All the librarians at my library are old, have blue hair, and ask you to speak up...I'm writing a short story about a nightmare I had a while ago though, I don't know what that counts for on the whole writing dream thing.
I'm so excited for the awesomesaucetasticness that will be revealed tomorrow. I absolutely love your blog! :)
